flatpak-tests software package provides Application deployment framework for desktop apps (tests), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install flatpak-tests
flatpak-tests is installed in your system.
Make ensure the flatpak-tests package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep flatpak-tests *
You will get with flatpak-tests package name, version, architecture and description in a table
